About Me
Jolene Butts Freeman
Jolene Butts Freeman's love for photography began while attending Clark College. While working on her schedule for the semester she was required to have a few electives and her passion for journalism, communications and video inspired her to register for a photography class. Her class was taught by Atlanta's premier documentary photographer, Jim Alexander who has always been served as a mentor.
Who knew that this would be the start of something extremely special. Jolene's excitement and passion for the art of photography and the stories told through the photographs continued to grow throughout her matriculation through Clark Atlanta University formerly Clark College. Her passion continued as she furthered her education at Northwestern University where she obtained her Master's Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Jolene's love for photography continued to grow as she developed her eye for the art through video while working at Northwester and in the broadcast television industry. She even used her skills in photography in her work as television reporter in Atlanta at WSb-TV and CBS 46.
Jolene's passion for communications, story telling and photography has placed her among ranks of award winning journalists. She is an Emmy Award winning journalist and has won awards from the National Association of Black Journalists and the International Association of Business Communicators.
Jolene's mentor and friend Julius Grimes of Kreativ Touch Photography, says Jolene has an amazing work ethic, and she pays close attention to detail while making the client feel encouraged and at ease. Jolene believes a photograph is more than the subject or object seen, in a photograph but each optic tells a story without a single solitary caption underneath. That perspective is what encouraged her to start her own business - \Infinite Exposure Photography.
Jolene's work has appeared on billboards for the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department, Fulton County Human Services Department, the Concerned Black Clergy of Metro Atlanta and has been published in the Atlanta Tribune, South Fulton Magazine as well as other publications in the City of Atlanta.
"It is my job to bring your story to life through photography. I focus on who you are and what you do. No matter the type of photography, no matter the subject or event I give you my very best. You are the main character in the movie, the play, or on the stage," said Jolene Butts Freeman CEO/Owner of Infinite Exposure Photography.
